Cosmetic Labeling Guidelines Seminar

Come join us for this 4 hour seminar on Cosmetic Labeling Guidelines for your small cosmetics business. We will review the FD&C Act and discuss the key labeling requirments for all manufacturers of cosmetics and soap. We will also review the FPLA (Fair Packaging & Labeling Act) and how it has requirements in addition to the FD&C Act. We will explain the difference between true soap, cosmetics, and drugs and how the different labeling guidances affect each. We will cover some common cosmetics that are actually considered drugs by the FDA and the reasons why we can not manufacture OTC products or cosmetics with preventative, healing, or other drug claims. The objective of this class is for you to know how differentiate between true soap, cosmetics, and drugs and  have a clear understanding of the labeling requirements for each.
