Come learn and have loads of fun taking our Melt & Pour class where you will learn the basics of melt and pour soapmaking: types of bases, melting, coloring, scenting, additives, making "confetti" and "stained glass" soap, layering, and embedding with Melt & Pour. You will even leave with four amazing bars of soap that you created to show off to friends and family!
Objectives of this 2 1/2 hour class are to teach you:
- what Melt & Pour soap bases are
- how to use Melt & Pour soap bases
- various methods of making Melt & *Pour soaps
- how to use various colorants with Melt & Pour soap bases
- how to fragrance Melt & Pour soap bases
- how to effectively add additives to Melt & Pour soap bases
- how wrap up your Melt & Pour soap creations.
During this class you will get to use Melt & Pour soap bases and supplies in our studio to color, scent, and wrap up your four soap art creations. We also have a wide assortment of Melt & Pour soapmaking supplies that you can purchase for crafting at home on your own.
Prerequisites: You must be 18 years old to enroll or participate in this class, or 14 years old and accompanied by an adult. Call or visit our studio to see when the next class is planned.
